Chocolate Maker Moves in to Workspace House.

Space & facilities prove to be a big attraction for our latest tenant.

Owner, entrepreneur and chocolate creator, Tiffany Nicholls has decided the time is right to scale up her kitchen based chocolate business and has chosen to join us here at Workspace House.

The business has been operating for almost a year and what started out as a supplement to another existing business started by Tiffany, has rapidly outgrown her kitchen and home. The attraction of a dedicated workspace away from home with an already established business community, appealed greatly to Tiffany.

With Christmas not that far away it is a busy time for ChunkyDunkChocs, but Tiffany already has plans to grow the business starting early next year.

You can see what is on offer via the website - www.chunkydunkchocs.co.uk and if you are looking for any Christmas ideas there is a dedicated section HERE.

Vibrant New Tenant for Workspace House

The paint has yet to dry and the furniture is yet to be arranged but we're excited to welcome another fledgling business to Workspace House.

Later this month, Vibrant Colour will officially take residence of Unit 20 within Workspace House. The business is a very creative promotional merchandise company that puts the needs of the customer at the centre of everything they do. Owner, Chris Smith, thrives on providing innovative solutions to his clients needs and this approach has contributed to his need to seek a new commercial base for the business.

With clients, events and the need to be out driving the business, Chris liked the serviced approach provided by us here at Workspace. Having additional conference/meeting space also meant that he has the ability to showcase his products in a larger space when required.

To find out more about Vibrant Colour and the products they offer you can visit their website  - www.vibrantcolour.co.uk or drop Chris an email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Experienced Logistics Outfit Moves into Workspace

Workspace House has seen 294 businesses come and go over the last 27 years and from the 1st of May that number will go up again as we welcome Michael Hancock and his MWH Logistics firm into Workspace House.

Michael has extensive experience of haulage, couriering and logistics across the UK and can include many large recognisable national businesses as clients in one way or another. But like many small businesses he has been running the business from home and bit by bit it slowly took over. So after one internet search and two visits Michael knew he had the right place to move into. "It's not just about space", Michael said, "there were several other reasons why I felt that Workspace House would be a good fit for my business. The low cost was important but also the place has a welcoming buzz that comes from having a really diverse mix of business types. Plus the fully serviced package means that I know what I'm outlaying each month - no surprises".

Michael is looking to expand his business and is always looking for new contracts to ensure he keeps his fleet of lorries, trucks and vans on the road. First up will be an increased internet presence so we hope to report back on MWH when their website and other online plans are in place. In the meantime, if you are looking for an established logistics firm you can call MWH Logistics on 01733 396572.

Workspace House gets busier as six new tenants join us.

The number of new businesses deciding to become a tenant (physical or virtual) has rocketed in recent months. Since MWH Logisitics joined us this month we are pleased to say that the following businesses have also become tenants at Workspace House:

We'll publish more about these businesses in the coming weeks, so make sure you come back to this website or pop over to our facebook page and like our page to keep updated there.

Drive to increase number of people trained in basic first-aid

Workspace tenant - Elastoclass First Aid Ltd - are trying to increase the number of people trained in first-aid with a series of Basic First-Aid courses here at Workspace House.

With recent research and reports suggesting that just eight per cent of victims survive an out-of- hospital cardiac arrest in England. Libby Rolfe, registered general nurse and owner of Elastoclass, is eager to improve the odds.

The three hour courses start on April 23 and will provide training in basic first-aid. There are three sessions a day on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with another two on Saturday. Libby said “The chances of surviving a non-hospital cardiac arrest is virtually zero if no-one attempts CPR.
Simply calling 999 is not enough, knowing how to perform procedures such as CPR or using an automatic external defibrillator (AED) can make all the difference in saving someone’s life.”

Libby has also advised that she will also donate £5 of every booking fee to local charity, Gemma’s Hearts, which raises funds to finance the installation of AED machines in the community. Anyone can book a place by clicking this link - elastoclass .

At the end of each course attendees will receive a Basic Life Support qualification.
