Experienced Logistics Outfit Moves into Workspace
Workspace House has seen 294 businesses come and go over the last 27 years and from the 1st of May that number will go up again as we welcome Michael Hancock and his MWH Logistics firm into Workspace House.
Michael has extensive experience of haulage, couriering and logistics across the UK and can include many large recognisable national businesses as clients in one way or another. But like many small businesses he has been running the business from home and bit by bit it slowly took over. So after one internet search and two visits Michael knew he had the right place to move into. "It's not just about space", Michael said, "there were several other reasons why I felt that Workspace House would be a good fit for my business. The low cost was important but also the place has a welcoming buzz that comes from having a really diverse mix of business types. Plus the fully serviced package means that I know what I'm outlaying each month - no surprises".
Michael is looking to expand his business and is always looking for new contracts to ensure he keeps his fleet of lorries, trucks and vans on the road. First up will be an increased internet presence so we hope to report back on MWH when their website and other online plans are in place. In the meantime, if you are looking for an established logistics firm you can call MWH Logistics on 01733 396572.
Branded glassware retailer moves in to Workspace House.
2018 is less than a month old and Workspace House is already celebrating our THIRD new tenant of the year. Hot on the heels of Success Boom & Bellville Computers is ambitious online retailer BrewerianaUK.
Our latest tenant is an online branded beer, cider and spirits glassware retailer. Stocking the likes of San Miguel, Stella Artois, Kopparberg, Bombay Sapphire and Silent Pool glassware and more, this fledgling business opted to move into our serviced environment to enable them to grow as they expand their online presence. Retailing, primarily via ebay and their own website, the owners are targeting other online platforms to provide them with a wider audience. With our ability to provide flexible serviced workspaces, fully staffed reception and loading bay facilities Workspace House is the perfect fit for BrewerianaUK.
So if you are looking to add to your collection, need a special gift for a friend or colleague or need the finishing touch for your 'home bar' why not pay a visit to BrewerianaUK's website. Or bookmark the page so you can find it when trying to find something different for Father's Day!
Drive to increase number of people trained in basic first-aid
Workspace tenant - Elastoclass First Aid Ltd - are trying to increase the number of people trained in first-aid with a series of Basic First-Aid courses here at Workspace House.
With recent research and reports suggesting that just eight per cent of victims survive an out-of- hospital cardiac arrest in England. Libby Rolfe, registered general nurse and owner of Elastoclass, is eager to improve the odds.
The three hour courses start on April 23 and will provide training in basic first-aid. There are three sessions a day on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with another two on Saturday. Libby said “The chances of surviving a non-hospital cardiac arrest is virtually zero if no-one attempts CPR.
Simply calling 999 is not enough, knowing how to perform procedures such as CPR or using an automatic external defibrillator (AED) can make all the difference in saving someone’s life.”
Libby has also advised that she will also donate £5 of every booking fee to local charity, Gemma’s Hearts, which raises funds to finance the installation of AED machines in the community. Anyone can book a place by clicking this link - elastoclass .
At the end of each course attendees will receive a Basic Life Support qualification.

Established business moves to Workspace House.
Established for over 15 years, local IT supplier Bellville Computers is undergoing a change - including a move to Workspace House. Employee, Ashley Briggs, has decided to start his own business but will still be trading under the Bellville Computers name - he had been with the business since it first opened its doors and it made sense to continue the trading name.
Ashley's first task was to source his own premises and a glowing testimonial from as existing tenant, Millennium Systems Services Ltd, followed by a tour around Workspace House helped Ashley realise that he had found the right place. Workspace House with its handy location, full serviced facilities including gigabit internet connectivity, 24hr access and added benefits including meeting rooms (free for tenants) is perfect for small businesses whether they are new start-ups or already established.
Bellville Computers will continue to provide an affordable, quality service backed up with detailed technical knowledge and experience. Whether it is competitively priced pc's and components or their fixed price PC clinic, Bellville aim to continue delivering the same quality service that they have provided for the past 15 years.
If you, your friends and family or business is is need of pc support get in touch with Bellville Computers via their website or new telephone number 01733 396 172.
