Workspace welcomes Driver Training tenant.
Flagship Trucks becomes first new tenant for 2019.
With the sounds of New Year still ringing in our ears we are pleased to announce that our first new tenant of 2019 is onsite and hitting the ground running.
Owner, Director and Trainer, Pete Rushmer, is putting his years of experience gained within the automotive industry and most recently HGV trucks to good use with the launch of Flagship Trucks. Recognising there was a gap in the market for comprehensive quality training, development and coaching services for Transport and Logistics businesses, Pete made the decision fill the void and Flagship was born.
Finding where to operate his business proved to be quick and easy! A chance meeting with fellow Workspace tenant and training provider, Elastoclass First Aid, quickly resulted in Pete moving his business into one of our larger serviced offices here in Woodston. The appeal of a serviced office that provides a staffed reception, good location with access to Peterborough and beyond coupled with super-fast internet and very low-cost monthly charges were contributing factors in his decision. However, the atmosphere and positive welcoming vibe from other tenants also played a massive part in confirming Workspace was the perfect location.
At present Flagship offer a targeted selection of courses including "JAUPT approved" Driver Periodic CPC courses, Emergency First Aid at Work for Drivers as well as Customer Service courses. The goal is to expand the range of courses ensuring that the needs of their clients are met. The next CPC course with availability is taking place on Saturday 19th January and runs from 8am-3:30pm (includes lunch). You can contact Flagship Trucks to find out more via their website https://flagshiptrucks.com/contact-us/.
Public artwork taking shape at Workspace.
Commissioned Sculptor becomes our next tenant.
Established artist (and physicist) Jasmine Pradissitto has become our next tenant at Workspace House whilst she works on a major new public installation. The artwork is being created using an amazing polymer that actually absorbs nitrogen dioxide and it was the use of this material that led Jasmine to Workspace.
Alsitek, creators of the material in question, are a successful Peterborough based business that originally started in....... Workspace House, and are still based nearby. And so, it made sense for Jasmine to be based near to her supplier and that meant Workspace House.
The sculpture itself is to be permanently sited in London (Camden People's Theatre - NW1 2PY) and is the result of a collaboration between Jasmine, the Mayor of London, Euston Green Link, MTArtAgency and is being supported and sponsored by Alsitek. Hopefully we will be able to post updates on the artwork as it is created and you can find out more about how this artwork came to be, Jasmine herself and the other works she has created at www.pradissitto.com.
Chocolate Maker Moves in to Workspace House.
Space & facilities prove to be a big attraction for our latest tenant.
Owner, entrepreneur and chocolate creator, Tiffany Nicholls has decided the time is right to scale up her kitchen based chocolate business and has chosen to join us here at Workspace House.
The business has been operating for almost a year and what started out as a supplement to another existing business started by Tiffany, has rapidly outgrown her kitchen and home. The attraction of a dedicated workspace away from home with an already established business community, appealed greatly to Tiffany.
With Christmas not that far away it is a busy time for ChunkyDunkChocs, but Tiffany already has plans to grow the business starting early next year.
You can see what is on offer via the website - www.chunkydunkchocs.co.uk and if you are looking for any Christmas ideas there is a dedicated section HERE.
Relax with our new tenant!
Highlighting the truly flexible approach we take to our serviced offices/workspaces here at Workspace House in Woodston, we can announce that local business owner, Natasha Mclean, has moved her wax melt, candle, bath bomb and fragrances business into our premises.
The business, Relax with Wax, only started in January this year but the demand and need for space meant that they quickly needed to find somewhere away from home to operate from. Being able to adapt and change the use of a serviced office/workspace is one of the many benefits of Workspace House and it didn't take long to convert the space from office into workshop!
It hasn't taken Natasha long to settle in and take advantage of the 24hr access so she can keep on top of all the Christmas orders that are rushing in. Likewise, the staffed reception and loading bays have made it easy for her to focus on running the business and not worry about being around or not hearing the delivery/couriers arrive.
As for the business itself, and using Natasha's own words "We handmake and sell handmade hand-poured eco and vegan friendly wax melts, candles including personalised candles and home fragrances.
Our aim is to provide high quality handmade products for affordable prices. We source oils from reliable suppliers that are against Animal Testing, and all dyes and Mica powders are only from Natural Minerals. We do not use any other additives in our production process."
With Relax with Wax moving in, Workspace House now only has four serviced offices/workspaces available. If you are looking for a serviced office/workspace, in Peterborough in a great location (Woodston) take a look at what we offer and get in touch to arrange a tour around our facilities.

Vibrant New Tenant for Workspace House
The paint has yet to dry and the furniture is yet to be arranged but we're excited to welcome another fledgling business to Workspace House.
Later this month, Vibrant Colour will officially take residence of Unit 20 within Workspace House. The business is a very creative promotional merchandise company that puts the needs of the customer at the centre of everything they do. Owner, Chris Smith, thrives on providing innovative solutions to his clients needs and this approach has contributed to his need to seek a new commercial base for the business.
With clients, events and the need to be out driving the business, Chris liked the serviced approach provided by us here at Workspace. Having additional conference/meeting space also meant that he has the ability to showcase his products in a larger space when required.
